The Old Lady...

Great Story out of  Taree in country NSW...

One day while I was sitting in the front yard, reading a book, an old lady came over and started to talk to me. We sat and talked for over half an hour. I was called in for dinner, but this elderly lady wouldn't leave, so I ignored my dinner call and continued to talk to the lady. By the second time I had been called in for dinner, the elderly lady told me to go inside, she didn't want me to get into trouble because of her.
For the rest of the week, I would sit outside in the front yard and eagerly await for the old woman to come and have a chat with me. We mostly talked about the “old days” how, her life used to be. She spoke of horse drawn carts, and carriages. She told me about the barn dances that used to be held, the horses she owned and rode and about her late husband Charles, who died '”a long time ago”.

Every night that week I was late for dinner, my mother questioned me, as she was sick of me not coming inside at once for my dinner call. I told my mother about the old woman who stopped by and chatted to me everyday, I told my mother what we spoke about. My mother did not believe me for a second, she thought I was in my fantasy world where I let my imagination run wild.

In the second week, the old lady came by everyday at 4pm, we sat on my front lawn and chatted for an hour each day. I told the old woman, that my mother did not believe me about her. The old woman, told me to tell my mother that “Glenys, will only come one more time.” She also told me that my mother was going to be expecting another baby in four months time.

I ran in after my mother called me for dinner, I excitingly, told my mother what the old lady had said. My Mothers face changed in colour and asked me to describe what the elderly lady looked like. After, I described the old womans appearance, my mother told me she had to go and lay down.

I later found out, Glenys, the old woman was actually my Great Grandmother, who had died 30 years before I was even born. Her husband Charles, indeed did die a long time ago, he died in 1896!

I waited everyday for my great grandmother to come by and have 'our' chats, but she never did come back and see me, although she did come back that “one more time” she promised and that was to see my mother after my baby brother was born some months later.

The Blue Jumper...

This is an unbelievable story from Debra in Belgrave, Victoria, who has definitely been in contact with some sort of supernatural being. Enjoy....

I always believed in demons and the supernatural realms, in fact I had seen a few ghosts as a youngster. However, as I grew older, I didn't the topic much thought and when someone mentioned seeing a ghost or anything, I was always interested but sceptical.

Early in the year of 1998, my mother fell sick, it was very quick, one day she was here and healthy, the next, she was gone. I was distraught with grief, I was very close with my mum and not having her nearby anymore made me go into a deep depression. I guess I just missed my mum.

One day after getting home from work, I was so exhausted that I just needed to have a quick nap before getting dinner prepared. I fell asleep almost immediately and had the most vivid dream that I have ever had.

I was walking along the beach and in the distance I could make out a small lady sitting by the water, she had no socks or shoes on and she was letting the water trickle over her feet. She looked relaxed, yet happy. As I neared the woman, she became familiar, it was my mother. She was glowing with health. She stood up and raised her arms out to me. We embraced for what seemed a long while. I asked her, what was she doing here and she answered she didn't have a long time to spend on the beach and just wanted me to know that she was doing OK. I could see she was holding some sort of package in her hand. It was wrapped in pink wrapping paper, with a large silver bow attached to it.

She told me it was time for her to go, we embraced for the last time. As she started to walk away from me, she held out the package and said. "I was so happy to see you that I almost forgot to give yo this". She handed me the parcel and walked away. Her long hair was blowing in the breeze, she looked so peaceful. Then she just disappeared. I sat by the water in the exact position where my mother had sat. I opened the parcel, inside was a lovely light blue jumper, with the word 'Love' written across the bottom.

I woke up and just started to cry. The dream had seemed so real, I remembered the smell of the beach, the fabric of the jumper, the touch of my mother. That same day I received a package from my aunt who lived in a different state. On the card it said, "I saw this and just thought of you, hope it fits." I tore open the parcel and there inside was the same, blue jumper with the word 'Love', written at the bottom. I couldn't believe it!

The dream I had WAS real and this beautiful blue jumper was a gift from my mother, that I shall cherish forever.

My First Demonic Experience.....

When I had just turned 14, my parents, brother and myself moved into small but eerily old house, in the country town of Bowral, New South Wales. As soon as I walked into the house, I felt 'something' other than us was in the house.

Throughout the first few months I always heard noises and other strange things but I thought it was just me being scared of the new house but then everything seemed to get worse. At first keys would go missing from where we put them and hours later end back where we first placed them or in strange places like in the fridge door.

Then everything went worse for me. Every day I could hear the voices more frequently whilst the rest of my family was quite convinced that I was mad and should just grow up, but strange things just kept happening.

One morning I had had a terrible night sleep, I woke up dripping in sweat and my heart was racing but couldn’t remember what I had been dreaming about or if I had even been dreaming. When I woke up I looked around and saw that all my posters had been turned upside down and I the cross on my night stand had fallen over and snapped in half.

After that night nothing happened for over a month and my family was starting to believe that I was trying to get attention or something as I had been complaining more and more about being scared of my own room but then one day that all changed. My dad had woken me up in the morning early to yell at me so I would “clean my pig sty of a room”. I cleaned my room within an inch of its life as my Dad is extremely scary and then he drove me to school. There was no one in the house when we left and everything was locked with the alarm on as normal. As my dad returned home from work he heard loud noises coming from our house, the door was not locked and everything was fine so he went to check into my room. My whole room had been trashed…all the drawers were pulled out, all my posters were around the wrong way again, carpet had been ripped, my mirror was smashed and yet again I found the cross, this time at the foot of my bed, broken into hundreds of little pieces.

That day when I got home I moved rooms and I have never stepped foot in my old bedroom ever again…

Welcome!!!

I have been fascinated with Demonology all my life and am fed up with not being able to find any decent Demonology Blogs on the net, especially about activity in Australia, so here we go!

Please post anything about Demonology – I would love to gather some real life experiences right here, as well as sharing my own stories.
